A non-surgical nose job lets you get the nose you want without the lengthy and painful recovery demanded by surgery. You’ll be enjoying the look of your new nose in as little as one hour.
Non-Surgical Nose Job
Rosy Glow Aesthetics in Partnership with Camas Medspa, Dr. Karen Gaskell is pleased to provide patients with non-surgical and liquid rhinoplasty. During this type of procedure, Dr. Gaskell utilizes dermal fillers to reshape the nose for patients desiring minor or superficial changes to its appearance. Though the procedure vastly differs from that of surgical rhinoplasty, the goal remains the same, which is to have the nose appear more symmetrical with the rest of the face.
Dr. Gaskell uses this technique to create instant results to the shape of the nose by filling in depressions, smoothing out sharp angles and changing the angle of the tip of the nose. Dermal fillers, such as Juvederm and Restylane, are the preferred choice of fillers. These hyaluronic acid based fillers provide an excellent filler material for the procedure. Their effects are also reversible, which is an added bonus for patients seeking to experiment with a temporary change.
WHAT YOU WANT
You want your nose to honor the proportions of your face. If you wish your nose had a little more volume to it–maybe in the bridge, maybe near the forehead–a non-surgical nose job can help you get the nose you want. Changing the nose can make your entire face more harmonious, giving you the overall look you desire, not to mention a nice boost of confidence and self-esteem.

Am I a Good Candidate for a Non-Surgical Nose Job?
While a non-surgical or liquid rhinoplasty cannot reduce the size of a nose, it can create symmetry and smooth contour irregularities. In addition, a non-surgical or liquid rhinoplasty can provide a non-invasive alternative for patients who are dissatisfied with the results of a previous surgical rhinoplasty.
More specifically, a non-surgical or liquid rhinoplasty can be helpful for:
The non surgical nose job procedure starts with photography so that we have a clear record of how your nose looked before the procedure. We then apply topical numbing cream to the nose and let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes. Once the cream is off, you will place ice on your nose to make it even more numb and to decrease the risk of bruising. After thoroughly cleansing your skin, Dr. Gaskell performs a series of extremely precise injections at specific points along your nose. Where she injects depends on what kind of correction she is trying to achieve. Most of these injections will involve minimal discomfort, but the tip is somewhat more sensitive than the rest of the nose. After the injections, you should be ready to go home without anyone being able to tell that you have had an aesthetic procedure.
This procedure does not entail downtime and patients can usually return to work immediately. One may experience minor bruising, mild swelling, redness and tenderness (especially at the tip), all of which should resolve within two weeks. The results of this nose job will last about 10 months to two years depending upon the filler used.
After the procedure, you can continue your normal skincare routine. We suggest that you avoid exercise and alcohol intake for at least 24 hours following the injection. We also advise that you refrain from wearing heavy sunglasses for at least a week. For patients that have a higher tendency to bruise, we suggest not taking any blood thinners for a week prior and two days following the treatment. Blood thinners include alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, vitamin E supplements, fish or flax seed oil supplements, ginko biloba and St. John’s Wort.
